Boise, Idaho – As new developments continue to sprout in an expanding Treasure Valley, the associated issue of waste grows steadily by its side. This Spring, Waste Equals, a local waste diversion start-up, plans to challenge the status-quo in construction. In partnership with Urban Land Development, Waste Equals will showcase the benefits waste diversion can have for our communities’ culture, economy, and environment. The project is set to break ground in early July off of Reed Street in Garden City, Idaho. Waste Equals is aiming to divert 75% – 85% of the construction waste from this 20,500 square foot project, with hopes of taking steps towards 100% landfill diversion in the future.
